Pia Puolakka is a forensic psychologist, psychotherapist, and hypnotherapist specializing in work with victims of religions and cults, including trauma caused by spiritual abuse. She has deep expertise in the influence, manipulation, and narcissism found in high-control groups. She serves as a psychological expert in legal cases involving cult survivors and has chaired the Support for Victims of Religions association in Finland since 2018. Drawing on lived experience of her own, she offers therapy in English and accepts clients worldwide via remote sessions.
