Steve K. D. Eichel, PhD, ABPP, CST is a licensed and Board-certified psychologist who has been involved in cultic studies for 50 years. He has been a prolific forensic evaluator and expert witness in cult-related legal cases. He served on ICSA’s Board of Directors for 14 years, including serving as board president from 2012-2021. A frequent contributor to a range of ICSA publications, Dr. Eichel was a recipient of ICSA’s John G. Clark Award for Distinguished Scholarship in Cultic Studies in 1990, and the Herb Rosedale Award in 2016.
